Sooooo.. PNM's Youth Rally..

Postby ~*Pãñdorą*~ » May 16th, 2010, 9:33 am

I started to watch a bit of it on TV but must admit I got very disgusted and changed the channel.
It was like watching WASA Fete or License Fete except the female patrons were wearing more clothes (only cuz dey get free juhzey)!

Image

I swear, those "youth" in the crowd were just there for the entertainment and freeness, No one listened to a fack Patrick had to say and then he wanted to lecture them about safe sex and staying away from married men and educating the males on how to treat a woman!!

And what.. tell me.. what Mr. Vegas have to do with Trinidad?? And the future of Trinidad??!!
De Fack!!

Dude,
The PNM trains it People from an early age, its a cult. They pump a certain fear that u cant trust indos and all they have is PNM to give them everything. Those youth have to go becuase their mother tell them so and the indians want to take away free education.

Tried listening to what the youth speakers had to say but they sounded like robots progammed by the pnm machine.Highly doubt they even wrote their speeches, not like anyone there was listening or cared anyway.Bruk out like ah sore.

Hear the best part of all the speeches
they all commenting on the
Diversity of the crowd
Its the most racially mixed crowd that they have ever seen
showing the the PNM is all inclusive

Its a sad thing but these youths arent interested in politics or how our country works, all they know is mammy & granny say vote pnm cause 'dais we people'.So they become sheep & blindly follow this homegrown programming without a second though. They get a lil $200,a jersey & a bus ride & swear to god manning loves them. All the while living for free at home, awaiting the day they get to cut grass in urp.

Do they know who Caulder Hart is the question! One good thing about this election is that more young people have pulled their heads out of the sand & are looking around & educating themselves as to whats is going on tha ever before. Those who didnt care do now, what they decide to do with this knowledge is their choice on may 24th but at least they are deciding.

Had a set of PNM youth wearing PNM jerseys in Valencia last evening in the road in front the Bar with the big Stag sign, drinking, dancing on the road and causing one set of traffic going into valencia, the area by the police station didn't have any traffic, luckily I was heading west.

De Fack!!

MUSIC HAS emerged as a significant feature of the 2007 election campaign with all three major parties using popular selections to woo voters. In the days leading up to polling day on November 5, each party has compiled play lists of calypso, chutney, reggae and pop music and are investing in sound systems and disc jockeys to create a lively musical atmosphere at their campaign meetings.

More than at any other time in this country’s electoral history, parties are assigning a significant amount of their campaign funds to music. The ruling People’s National Movement (PNM) and the United National Congress Alliance (UNC-A) have even gone as far as to organise youth rallies where there is more music and less talk. These events, structured more like concerts than political events, are aimed at winning the support of the country’s young voters.

The UNC-A’s youth rally, held last Sunday at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya, featured popular Jamaican dancehall star Richie Spice, flown in specially for the occasion.(article Newsday Oct 24th 2007)

ahhhh the short memory of trini..or should I say convenient memory

was a bit scary passing one of the pnm youth pick up points (new grant) Saturday morning.....drunken, violent behaviour(boulders in hand looking to launch, pushing and shoving each other, blocking the road), together with the very scantily clad young females in their modified (as in stripped/tear-up) red jerseys....and well I had to wonder about the diversity of race for there was only one noticed.
