I suspect the theory that PNM voters would rather not vote than vote UNC/COP is correct, there will be a very low voter turnout

I dont see how people saying that from last time the sum of UNC and COP votes supposed to mean PNM will lose

It always boils down to marginals

In theory the 2010 GE could end up:

PNM - 21

Arima
Arouca/Maloney
D'Abadie/O'Meara
Diego Martin Central
Diego Martin North/East
Diego Martin West
La Brea
La Horquetta/Talparo
Laventille East/Morvant
Laventille West
Lopinot/Bon Air West
Point Fortin
POS North/St. Ann's West
POS South
San Fernando East
San Fernando West
St. Ann's East
Toco/Sangre Grande
Tobago East
Tobago West
Tunapuna

Opposition Forces - 20

Barataria/San Juan
Caroni Central
Caroni East
Chaguanas East
Chaguanas West
Couva North
Couva South
Cumuto/Manzanilla
Fyzabad
Mayaro
Naparima
Oropouche East
Oropouche West
Point-a-Pierre
Princess Town North
Pricess Town South/Tableland
Siparia
St. Augustine
St. Joseph
Tabaquite

BUT the GE 2010 may have a surprise in store ie. PNM could end up losing San Fernando West seat thus allowing the Opposition forces to form the next Government.

Lastly we may see another election surprise in at least 1 out of the 5 following seats. Whether it results in a win or not left to be seen.

Diego Martin Central
Diego Martin North/East
Diego Martin West
Lopinot/Bon Air West
Toco/Sangre Grande

Buh here dis nah.... According to this Newsday Article - http://www.newsday.co.tt/news/0,118961.html - there are 1,369,000 registered voters for the up coming elections.

What is the population of T&T? Something ain't adding up here. Those numbers seems very high - Even if yuh add the citizens living abroad etc, it still seems high. If that's the case, then you telling me that most of T&T citizens is of legal voting age? :?

get every person in ur family to vote.....disabled, deaf, dumb, retarded (soh worry Shooter_boy_j ah go pick yuh up), elderly, etc.

you wouldnt believe who these PNMited bring to vote...not that it wrong...cause its their civic duty...but I work for elections....and I does be like.....oh gorsh you go put the person through this?!!!

i think the non-PNM voters dont know they cud bring "sickly" ppl or are ashamed to bring them to vote!!

BUT WE NEED THEIR VOTE!!!....bring out any and every person to vote!!!
