Moving from UK to TnT - Currently racing in Rotax.

Postby phil-uk » April 25th, 2012, 6:38 am

Hi all, I'll probably be moving back to TnT after many, many years and would like to continue my kart racing when over there. I know all the costs for racing here in the UK but could you all give me some info on the cost of things there in TnT?

1) cost of a rolling chassis suitable for Rotax (new and 2nd hand)?
2) cost of a Rotax FR125 engine (new)?
3) what tyres do you use there and what are the costs for a set (slicks and wets)?
4) how long do the tyres last, 1 meeting, 3 meetings, etc?
5) are transponders used for lap timing, if so which type?
6) what is the cost for a race entry and are practice days available?
7) is there a parts supplier for karts there, is so do they have a website?

Many thanks guys, hope to get some replies soon : )

Regards, Phil
