Look at the resale value before making a decision
Also look at the tech thread: viewforum.php?f=41

After going from manual to auto i not going to buy a manual van again unless i getting an exceptional deal .
Automatic is so much less stressful, less tiring to drive . All the talk about auto cannot haul stuff is a bunch of tata

Nissan might have a higher resale value in TnT.

Isuzu, 4JJ1-TC engine is far more reliable, it's used in their light commercial trucks. I believe it has a B10 reliability rating of 500,000km which means only 10% of these engines will require a major rebuild before 500,000 kms. In Australia Isuzu DMax is considered bullet proof.

I owned an older Navara which gave me a slew of problems after five years of buying it from the firm. Thankfully parts were abundant & relatively cheap.
I owned the 2015 Isuzu and I sold in 2017 for reasons not to do with the performance of the van. It was a workhorse. No problems at all.

Dmax isn't as powerful or won't win a drag race against the nav however the engine is bulletproof.
There is a new model dmax coming in 2020. The new model is an absolute beauty

Truly appreciate your feedback.
Yes the 2020 model is pretty decent.
I spoke with a sales rep from Southern Sales about the 2020 model coming in to Trini.
He said he doesn't think they'll come anytime soon. :?

They almost all say they won't get the new model soon as their commission won't also be coming in soon
