Hi guys, I found this forum while searching for ford mazda cylinder head. Have tried searching topic but no avail. The patient is a ford ranger xlt 2004 which has done only 155kkm in 12 years. Noticed the air pop in the air filter til 1 week ago. Have check the tappet clearances, removed the injectors to do a pressure test. Tappets were tight so were adjusted. pressure is even at 10 bars across all cylinders.
Going to pull the cylinder head today. I will post the proceedings here as it goes. Anyone has experience this before? Bent valves, cracked head, gasket? Thank you.
