Reminds me of the surflux I had once. You can't be disappointed with Toyota. Yeah I have the 1KZ and tranny. If I could have gotten a gearbox for it that was not leaving my hands but it may still remain. Looking good. Double shocks? What lift? Springs and body? What Springs.....? No cross over steering?

yes double shocks in the front and 4 in the rear. 5 inch lift on suspension and 3 inch on body...no cross over steering, using a drop drag link and tough dog return to center steering damper and i brought in a power steering box from another country because this was a TAX model with manual steering box. with the bigger tyres i will get another 3 inches of lift.
(note: i did not do any cutting and welding of the j arm or the pitman arm that i see people doing, neither did i run lift blocks under my front springs, lol.)

So with these mods what size/brand tires are u gonna be running?
And the real question,
Will u mudd it?
But nice build man, similar to my own, hopefully I will be done and driving soon!

looking at possibly 35 x 12.5 x 15 TSL or maybe wider if it can fit.
I will do some off-roading but noting too extreme
installing some diff breathers tomorrow.

I did all the work myself and it took about 4 months and alot of research especially with sorting out the steering.

Most common steering mod is the hi steer arms with crossover steering and IFS box, and this way is also and option!

example of what not to do in the front of your SAF hilux.
lift blocks under front springs is not advisable, neither is cutting and welding your pitman arm.
