Painting chrome bumpers?

ok guys, I'm looking for some advice on the best way/ people to go about painting over a rear chrome bumper. Thus far I'm thinking:
1. Sandblast, prime, paint....
2. Hand sand, etching primer, paint...
3. Plastidip: I've had zero experience with this, but I'm curious to hear how it's held up for those that have used it.
4. Spray on/ roll on bedliner
5. Powder coat
6. Vinyl wrap
7. Sell the forking thing and install a steel bumper

Feel free to offer any suggestions/ opinions.

My vote is with powdercoat, but that's just me.

agreed, powder coat/ vinyl are easier alternatives. once that chrome bumper gets dented or scratched its easy to see, hard to fix and expensive to replace.

forgot I posted this yes. thanks for the suggestions you two; I think I'll end up taking the powder coating route, and maybe in the future look into having one fabricated.
