hilux problem

hey im having a problem wit my hilux 1kd engine it has is constant engine knock and on morning when i start the knock is loud then it gets quiet after about 3 seconds.after this the noise is constant not very loud and it increases when the vehicle engine is under pressure for instant climbing hills and when the AC is on.ill be glad if u all can help me wit this problem

You may need to change oil & filter and most importantly clean the sump pan. Had this problem in a Rav too & that solved it.

oh so common injector noise that an indication the there going

your engine needs rebuilding pistons slapping typical of those 1kds,,i did over dozens already....eventually u wud be going down the hiway and engine would lock up on u

i got 2------ 1kd blocks with pistons and crank just needs sleeving over which cost 1800-2000....u may also want use new ring sets and bearings ..and uh good to go ,,,,so u can build your block on the side before opening ur engine and tha can cut down time
