ZD30 sudden loss of power/boost?

I was giving my ZD30 a good run tonight, hitting 15psi boost, when all of a sudden my revs dropped, boost cut down to about 10-11psi and i felt an obvious loss in power... now from pull off to around 3k RPM in the van runs as normal, but struggles upward and starts to feel lazy... it's maxing out at 120kmh in 4th, and still cant cross that 120 when i shift into 5th, and still not building full boost
Engine is well maintained, despite giving it a good hard run now and then like I was doing tonight when this happened; oil looks good, changed it on schedule 2000km ago (bout a month and a half)...turbo not making any weird sounds...no black smoke or anything; the only thing coming to mind right now is the diesel pump?
Anyone have any idea what could cause this to happen? It was just a very sudden loss in power, not a gradual loss over time...the van was running well all the time.
