Questions about used BT50's for sale

I've been seeing a lot of Mazda BT50'S for sale recently in the print classifides as well as here, selling quite cheap in my opinion. Basic models with plates like TCK,TCM, TCN, all going at or below 110K.
My questions are these:
Is this really a cheap price? (it may seem so at today's prices, but what about in relation to the prices back then)
And what may be the reason?

Thanks for any insights shared
Bless

those were not as expensive as the other option on the local market (hilux, narvara, sportero, d-max) when they were sold new

so i suppose resale value would be lower than similar aged on teh used market

WL5 12V engine is a beast, just maintain properly and watch out for that known overheating problem

Most of them selling for these low prices because..some are basic model meaning windup windows etc, also the older WL engine they are running has its overheating issue and well they are gearbox. Most people who have these vehicles literally jam them because the engine is a beast, and once it reaches that 100K mileage mark they tend to let it go before costly repairs.

Well that's my opinion on it, Cause a similar basic ford ranger in its class manual with WL engine will go for around the same price or a little higher because its a "FORD"

07 - 13 bt-50 owner, the engine is a beast. Broke the diff / lsd around 70 000km but that was my fault(upgraded to better lsd), 148 000km and still going strong. Changed all the belts, fluid's and clutch at 98 000km. Purchased new from the firm for $154 000 basic 4x4. Might sell for a auto 4x4 as im getting lazy with my daily traffic, but still playing with options.
