Hey guys,

I have a b2500 and the gas gauge no longer works. Can someone assist me with what I should check/look for? All the other instruments on the dash work fine.

Also, can anyone tell me how many litres it takes to full the tank? And about how many kms of driving you get from a full tank? i don't have a manual or anything for it.

Thank in advance for any help.

Ok thanks will try that. Wonder if the warning light still works but I'm not willing to let it get so low that I will be able to find out.

if its 4x4 70L is the capacity, takes about $86 -$91 to full ,i usually get about 450 to 520km on a tank of diesel.i drive a ford ranger made in the same company as the b2500.

I have a 2-door B2500 with the WL turbo engine, I reset when I full up and top up again at ~389 KM count this is safe to ensure if there is any error on the guage, normal top up at 389 is ~TT$65.00

Great thank you very much. Yes I have a 2004 b2500 4x4 model. Last time it took 36L to full so I guess it was just about half then. Thanks a lot this info is helpful.

Can anyone recommend a place to get my fuel tank dropped to repair? (East West corridor preferably)...... I'm having the same problem and almost sure the float dropped off.......can anyone say if the unit in the tank is the same as 1st BT-50 model

Thanks.

Cant confirm if its the same thing but the b2500 fuel tank is a problematic thing, fixed one with a coors tin already but that didnt last too long. worked for about 6 months
