frontier torsion bar.

Postby seech7195 » April 15th, 2013, 8:12 pm

my torsion bar always makes a "klank" sound when stopping, slowing down or passing through a slight rough. my mechanic greases it an it stops for a while and starts back making noise after about 3 weeks.
my questions are, can i grease it for myself at home and save money more often, or does a mechanic have to grease it? OR if i leave it like that for some time, would any serious damage occur?
or does anyone have any other helpful suggestions to prevent dat "klanking" noise?
