Special thanks to Garth from Fine Tune Performance Dyno Shop, 27 Cherry Tree Cir. Santa Rosa Heights an to Red Dawg Racing. here's the dyno run of my navara, 2.5L turbo diesel, engine stock except for a drop in K&N filter. Here's the base line run

First run was a 3rd gear pull, second run was a 4th gear pull and third run was a 4th gear pull with an open air box

Proposed mods are intercooler hard pipes, exhaust, custom air box, for now

build will be documented.

That is plenty power stock, but I wouldn't put too much power in a van that has such a high centre of gravity , unless you're just going to use the torque off-road.

yeah I used the readylift kit 69-4510 kit. it has shock spacers for the front, with camber bolts and new bump stops. The rear is longer leaf shackles. It raises the truck 2.5 inches in front and 1.5 inches in the back. Running on 265/70R17 Kumho Venture all terrains (boss tire!!! no road noise, performs well on and off road) and 17 x 8 Enkei ST6 with a + 20 offset

plenty power?
the torque figures are more important, and you realize the tq curve dies before 5000rpm.
It's a van that won't go anywhere fast in a hurry.

Looks about right.

The navara is by no means a speedster, and it's certainly not designed for drag racing or any type of racing anyway...

I find the most pleasing aspect of that torquey yd25 is the overtaking... can easily overtake a slower moving vehicle in 4th-5th gear within 3 seconds on the highway.
Also overtaking on the lady young on that lil stretch after hilton is a breeze too (though not recommended for safety reasons!!).

This past christmas I hauled a truck full of family members, and some heavy suitcases from the airport and the truck had no problems picking up acceleration - almost didn't feel any dip in performance at all.

I know of a guy on one of the foreign Navara/frontier forums who has a YD25 Navara and he's pushing 300hp and almost 500lb/ft torque.

by OP's dynograph, that gives a tad less than 15% drivetrain loss...?

HP at the wheels is generally 15% less than at flywheel.... so IMO that should be more or less pretty accurate.

I wonder how my nav would run, with a snorkel and running 305/60R18 wheels?? :)

i've been following his thread carefully as well lol, but yeah my goal is 200HP, and about 350torque, but I'm going for the baja look. Shocks, other suspension parts already on the water, plus some other baja goodies. I'll be documenting the build part for part
