Help B2500 WL

Hey guys my b2500 engine problem...while the van is idiling it has a slight miss and lots of black smoke if u rev it no smoke no miss...need some advice...it wld be greatly appreciated ty

1 more ting to add to dis where is the fuse for the glow plugs located..srry i recently purchased this vehicle... :(

ok start with the basics
1) replace fuel filter
2) replace air filter
3) run a bottle of redline 85 in the tank when you fill up
4) get mechanic to clean strainer in pump for you-may be the likely culprit
5) If none of the above arrange to get injectors checked. If ur in south the guys on vistabella hill do a good job.
6) Glow plugh fuse located in fuse box in engine bay close to the battery

excellent list there man. i strongly agree with #4 once this is cleaned properly u gain a whole amount of power. 8-)

will do thnx...sadly we checked the pump and the strainer is missin O_o and the glow plug fuse was blown....

when i had my bt50 i cleaned the strainer ..... its located on the inlet fuel line for the pump ......

Springvale machine shop...coming from san fernando side, its the right before ali doubles on the corner.

usually when idiling and u get a puff of smoke it could be valve seals, leaking oil into the chamber....or worst case u have a cracked head, its a common problem with WL engines..the water mixes with the fuel...http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_can_caus ... he_exhaust
