oh gosh bought one of these online for the navara and everything was compatible except that our version of the hinge on the navara tailgate door is different to that of the US version as well as there is a missing hole in the tailgate door
this is the hinge for our Navaras


whereas the US version of the hinge is to the side of the tailgate door like this image

just for completeness sake can anyone tell me how the restraints that hold the tailgate door on are arrange with respect to the closed ring or the slip on type ring as shown below

this is with the ezdown attached but unfortunately i cant attach its other end to the actual door
