Gentlemen,

Is there anywhere on the site that I can find an explanation of the various rankings that members are assigned?

For example, I was initially "riding on 13's". However, after posting that the bull bar on my stock nav was chrome, i noticed that I was changed to "ricer".

If there isn't a previous post, can one of the veterans kindly assist this newbie?

For instance, are members "riding on XX's" until more info is available? Is a ricer anyone with anything chrome on their truck?

Thanks in advance and I hope I don't have to rejoin the site under an alias for asking this question.

lol it have nothin to do with chrome or 20' rims..it depends on your post count..not to sure how much again u have to post until u reach the next rank

when you reach a certain amount of posts, your status will reflect that.. e.g. 0 - 10 posts = riding on 13"s, 10 - 50 = ricer, 50 - 100 = something else etc etc..

initially, they only counted tech posts (posts made in the tech forums only) but now your post count goes up even when you chat in the ole talk forum..

they don't check the classifieds though..

Wheeyyyy, I iz a street tuner. If that means that I eh know much but I does spend 2-3 hours every night reading all the older threads and researching this "diesel phenomenon" then its correct.

Still confused about the ranking though. Most of my posts are to say "thanks" or "good post".

However, I do have 3 weeks of diesel driving experience which I'll gladly share at anytime on this great forum.

I love this place!

Dunman - it's based on how many posts you've made (even if some of them are just to say "thanks" or whatever) - I guess they use post-count to judge how much time you spend on Tuner, not the amount of hours spent reading or lurking in the forum.

^^ So Dunman basically you have to go around the forums and post all over the place like somebody we know ^^. lol!
