WTK BOV on a sportero ????

yea guys can a BOV be installed on the stock turbo in a sportero?? i hav been wondering for a while

you want it for the sound or for compressor surge? afaik diesels dont need a bov, unless in extreme cases. have a read http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_you_put_a_Blow_off_valve_in_a_turbo_diesel_engine

rice...........it can be done but it will have to be electronically controlled..it won't work mechanically like how gasoline vehicles do

Not that I am interested in one, but would be nice to know how it was done and who did it locally.
And of course, if it had any performance effect (Which I think is unlikely.)

^^^I have a friend from Rio that does that, literally, the whistling and the BOV psssshh too. hahahahah, in a 1.6 ad wagon.
