Navara D40 headlights.

Is it me or don't the stock lights do an effective job of lighting up the road, I often have to wonder if I forgot to turn the lights on (and I find it rude to drive around with high beams one).
So folks with Navara's share your thoughts and what you did (if anything) to correct the issue.

try adjusting the focus of your headlamps see how that works for you

Played with it already (but thanks for the suggestion) and the throw was a bit to high so just driving around the beam was hitting other drivers in their eyes. The cut off point ideally should be just under the trunk of a regular car so as not to cause glare in the rear view as well as not blind oncoming traffic.
So I gather aim is not the problem, but intensity and focus of the beam pattern from the lamp itself.

never had a problem...you lights may need adjusting

the stock HLs are HIDs.....never had a problem with them
never needed the high beam till i installed the projectors

i think he's speaking about the OEM lights that the firm trucks come with....
but mine showed pretty good.....

Oh how I wish mine came with stock HID's...biggy interested in parting with you setup

Yes it's the OEM i'm referencing H4 halogens.

if it continues to be a problem you should consider some new bulbs.. or hook up some relays on the original ones and see if your road illumination gets where you want it to be...i's do with the relays first and see before thinking about changing bulbs or lighting systems...
