For those who have them installed I have a couple questions:
- What type you got (CCD vs CMOS)?
- Where you installed it ?
- Did you source it locally ?
- Price ?
- What's the performance like (colour, night vision, weather proofing, viewing angle, etc).?
I'm looking to source one for my double cab pickup but would like to here from the masses their experiences.
This is primarily for parking when at home got young kids and even though the reverse sensors beep...will feel more comfortable that I can view the back of the vehicle just in case. A coupe hundred dollars is nothing vs having to say if I had only done it sooner.
So you comments and experiences....

CCD (Much better viewing quality as oppose to CMOS)
In the number plate (Flush Mount)
Bought in foreign
$100 US
It's coloured, it has 9 IR LED's, it waterproof, and ah can't remember the viewing angle off hand, but it works really well day/night
Due to the height of the pick ups it just makes parking or reversing easier and safer, for me it was money well spent

I have the beeper type installed. That works fine for me. Don't know why people need the camera systems though.
