[b]wtk WL 2.5 turbo diesel engine work with ranger w9 gearbo

Thinking about swapping out my 2.9 non turbo engine for the wl 2.5 turbo engine but not sure about gearbox bolt up or differential ratios .Since most of the wls sold in bamboo are either auto or engine only any info would be appreciated

dont know for sure, but i swapped a wl non turbo for a wl turbo in a mazda pick up. i believe the gearbox would be the same, but the bell housing may have a difference. mine bolted on without any modification....but then again it was a 2.5>2.5
