I have an E24 that came with the QD32 engine and tranny. The problem I am having is that when I accelerate the engine holds back and I loose power and there is a bluish color smoke coming out the tail pipe. When I accelerate the engine with the van on Park the engine stutters and gives of the same color smoke. Now the engine starts and idles fine, is only when I accelerate I am getting this problem. I was told to bleed the injectors, does anyone have any idea what can be causing this? and how do you go about bleeding the injectors?
Thanks.

yes, change the fuel fillter esp if you havent done so yet. there is also a tiny strainer made of metal in ur pump that may need cleaning also.
changing all filters in a diesel is very important

I changed furel filter and there is no strainer in the pump, the previous owner's mechanic must have taken it out. What else can i do, it reach to the point now where I have to start it and mash the "X" for it to stay idling, once I let it go the engine shuts off. When I do keep my foot on the "X" for it to keep running the RPM fluctuating up and down with the "X" depressed in one position.

Ok well I carried it to a diesel mechanic and he open a bolt at the bottom of the diesel pump and some really dirty stuff came out, he cleaned out the area and put back the bolt, prime the primer pump and start. And that was it, the engine started with one bounce of the starter and idled normal and no more stuttering and smoke.
So the next step is to run the jet fuel and then the Amsoil diesel concentrate. When I make up some money I will carry the pump to service.
Also, do you guys know where I can get the Strainer for the pump?
