follow the metal fuel line into the pump [it curves around the back, near to the block] and you will find a 17mm banjo bolt. slacken it off using a long extension and b careful not to lose the washers. fish out the retaining spring using a wire and then curve the wire end and fish out the strainer.
i repeat, dont drop or lose the small parts (be sure to park somewhere u can retrieve stuff when it falls)
the strainer can be reverse sprayed using 'bars' carb cleaner and then re-assemble. before tightening the bolt, depress ur primer pump to expel air, tighten, then relese primer. just to be sure start and bleed injectors as usual.
if it was clogged u will se a Huge difference, esp in turbo models. usually gets clogged from failed filter, so check that also
