Nissan Navara Question

Fellas:
Is the 4x4 faster and more powerful than the 4x2 because the sales men at Massy say that they both carry the same engine. Secondly, What is the difference in the ride in terms of smoothness and stability with the 4x4 and 4x2..

they both ride like an oversized car and if they have the same engine and tranny and diffs then the 4x2 would be the faster because it is simply lighter. Alot of IF's though and I doubt the dealer knows.

Frickin retard Massey sales men ...
Just FYI the 4x2 comes with a lower spec 140 something hp engine ...
Just look at the brochure, the 4x4 comes with the 170hp lump.
The engines have the same displacement, but I suspect different tunes and turbos ...

Hey I am not an expert, but i purchased the 4X4 and i drove both the 4x2 friend's own. the 4x4 is faster (more powerful) is sits better on the road, could not say why.... heavier maybe.. up to ur budget

i believe the turbos are the same...like Mr. Go Slow said, the engine is tuned differenlty,,,but both hav the same engine but difference of 30 hp
ive driven both and to be honest...unless ure a real nitpicker....the rides are not goin to bother you
its really up to how much u want to spend at the end of the day
