It was mranked No 2 ahead of Brands like BFG KO and Michelin LTX AT2 yet was costing 1280 + vat less 10% for buying 4 tires. So I went with it.

I called them...they were'nt offering a decent price on the trade in. I understand they are 'used' but found their price too unreasonable.
Anybody ever head of Kingrun tires?

Nankang from Unlimited Tyres in Cunupia... got these installed a year now (18000kms or so old) and they work great.
I had Toyo before, but the Nankangs were around half the price so I decided to go with them and try it out based on the opinion of a friend who said they ride good.

Personally...i would advise you to buy tyres according to where you do most of your driving.
H/T rides the best and the quietest on the road and in wet condition. But works like crap in any slight mud or even wet grass..
M/T i wont recommend for any daily driver. If is a weekend rig or project vehicle...then it ok. But they howl on the blacktop and the traction on the road is terrible.
A/T as far as i see is a marketing gimmik.
They are basically H/T with a some more agressive lugs.
The are supposed to provide a balance between H/T and M/T but they actually dont. They still make a lot of noise and still dont work well in muddy conditions. But for novice trails etc they work well.
As with all tyres...good brands tend to cost more for a reason.
My experiences are mostly with cheap tyres.
There are good A/T and even some less agressive M/T that perform really well offroad and on the highways.
