Try Filterproz on the forums.
Alternatively, you can fit an aftermarket intercooler.

Guys, if you have changed your shock absorbers (front and rear) how did you know it needed to be replaced, and at what interval (mileage/time based) did you replace?

Also, what did you use? Finding that the van's rear end oscillates a bit below the critically damped scenario, and not sure if this is normal for a load bearing vehicle.

Also, are the new 17" wheels on the new L200 van better for brake cooling or would the difference be negligible? Was looking at a wheel upgrade to improve airflow to the brakes (yea, that's my excuse) but not go too big to make tyres too expensive or impact negatively on the performance.

3.2 or 2.2 BT-50? Either way, be sure to post up your review of the Mazda.

I nearly sold mine as well, but I had good friends to talk me out of it lol. Nearly downgraded to a Sportage.

If you need the Mitsubishi transmission fluid, Federal usually has, on Cipero St.
I have some extra quarts of the Amsoil transmission fluid, but not sure if you use that.

Looking for a OEM replacement right sidestep for the van. Anyone knows where it is available at the best price?

What sort of difference did cleaning the intake manifold make?

i was getting some idle issues and lost some low end power also the engine was a bit loud. All these issues were noted over time since when I bought the vehicle, it was never there. After cleaning the mani and blocking the EGR, all those issues cleared up.

Guys for all of you who like your Michelin tires.....the sale started yesterday.

buy one get the next tire 50% off or buy 3 tires and get 1 free.

Apparently there is no advertising outside the quickservice shops.

I opted for the LTX M/S2 and all four tires came up to $6500 which is about $1625 per tire

The original cost is $2200

i believe they are well worth it...

my previous Michelin tires were half life when my bro bought a set of Kuhmo Road venture A/t tires $4500 for the set

He ran out those tires and i was still using my michelin . Note that the average life was about 40,000-50,000 km

Although the price is high....they take very long to wear. Another thing is that the Michelin keeps grip when the life is nearly ending

the Kuhmos were horrible when they were low.

Michelin works excellent if you have the cash to put out at the point in time

you can say that again

to be fair to the Kumho, they were A/T

Kumho A/T do not have much sipes at low treadwear

Guys, how to know if the genuine mitsubishi oil filter, is really genuine? Reason I ask is that I got a deal, to buy 3 "genuine" at $140.00 each, which seems a bit too good to be true for me :/

any1 know what was the original tyre size for the mitsubishi l200 k74t? saw the above post with the mitchelin sale... and contemplating getting some new tyres for the rainy season- bought the van a few months ago- it came with hercules 275-70-16, is that correct size to ask for? any ideas on the best size for the k74t? it's mainly for highway/ mainroad driving, no off roading.

depends where you buying them. There are fakes out there, bout not too many in Mitsu parts, other manufacturers

oem is a black filter with Mitsu logo, white blue and red box

got a really great engine wash, underwash, shock oil and grease-up today in Charlieville - thanx AllTrac

for those of you who have problems greasing the front driveshaft cross, the secret is to turn the drive shaft so that the nipple faces the floor, you get more clearance between the nipple and the cross to fit the grease gun nipple attachment, but your grease gun needs a long flexible hose attachment
