After all the fun we had on the last run fellas, when and where is the next run ?

I asking before the memories and fun of the last run got stale, I know.

But, in a short while the CEO will b an incredibly busy fella and I'm pretty sure may not be going on runs as frequuently

So Sweeky, we need to capitalize on your available time

plenty 4x4 70's land cruiser up there if I had gotten into difficulty, but I didn't play brave

this was just a recon mission

I forgot those roads are concrete for a reason. So u gain maximum traction, as opposed to asphalt. IF you wasnt such a wussy, you would have realised this and not ridden the clutch

Yup them Land Cruiser & Defenders are generally the only things you see up there, had to go visit a friend who lives up there one time and she insisted I park Ellerslie Plaza and she go pick me up....I thought she was setting me up till I saw the road :shock:

Ah tell allyuh ah wasn't riding the clutch

And yes, I been up there when it wet

Back in my TSTT days

The river had overflown onto the road and the road became the river

Driving up and debris and boulders washing down under the vehicle (Pajero io 1.6L)

we even took the road from Paramin that comes back onto the North Coast road, in the wet

That one was a hell of a nightmare

In a manual PBB Kia Sportage

Some of those inclines are like 60 degrees

At one point we were driving thru low hanging clouds, looking down on corbeaux

The Sportage was in 4L and slipping downwards for lack of traction

SO the next run is a North Coast to Blanchisseuse, by TL house, with a layby thru Paramin? Hehehe....

Sounding good! Yeah when I drove thru there in the rain (real rain too eh) I was driving thru clouds. And it was REAL cold up there.

Who's got the testicular fortitude to make this run? ;-)

Boss i would choose nothing other than the Hilux NEW. nothing else comes close... Is the old model L200 i was talking about. Sportero is a boohoo... :lol:

Venum i eh mean nothing eh padnah. if i was running brand all ah allyuh know i wouda stick with the tripple Diamond but i just choose the best by test... Hilux IMV. and in about 3 years when ah selling i will be chooszin a replacment the same way, not by Brand but by Best by Test. wonder what will be rankign then...

i will not lie doh, i go stick Manual but i want more power. and intercooled. i miss that with Baby Triton. And Biggy, Joe's 3.0 does eat up road dred. does make me feel slowwwwwwwww........ :twisted:

Mind you I still Love my Hilux. thats my Baby... :twisted:
