King Kool were repairing lots of sporteros under warranty for DM
check them for a repair
a "clock spring" which is in the steering column right under the steering wheel. It's called that because it simply looks like a clock spring that winds and unwinds. This is how they could make a positive electrical connection to the airbag and still be able to turn the wheel back and forth.

but access to teh evaporator usually involves removal of teh dashboard or parts of it
any A/C guy can diagnose it and will readily offer to do the repair
due to the nature of the repair you don't want any dumb F%*k doing it, so spend your $$$ by someone who can do it properly and neatly so when complete, you cannot tell that it was donea "clock spring" which is in the steering column right under the steering wheel. Clearly a victim of an unscrupulous seller and a rolled back odometer………….

3) took 14qts, million thanks to venum on his write up on flushing out the powersteering lines, followed it and did the flush today, powersteering old fluid was black, powersteering feels so much lighter now, btw, getting that clip off the bottom of the power steering reservoir was a beeeeyatch!
2. I read in the oil thread that you're using Amsoil engine oil, however, are you using their cetane and diesel concentrate additives as well? I mean it's clear you know what you're doing maintenance wise, but that looks pretty damn dirty
3. I'm gonna do the transmission flush for my next service, so I'll give someone else a chance and not be greedy (...yet ) For future reference though, how many quarts did you use? I think it's a little less than 16 quarts, but I'm not a 100% on that.
