Not sure how to tell teh difference between them though.

AFAIK:
- Hilux = LSD
- Ranger = LSD
- B2500 & BT-50 = LSD
- Frontier 3.0 & 3.2 = LSD
- Navara = Open Diff - 4x4 manual model (did the spin-tyre test, both spun in opposite directions) & E-Diff (on automatic 4x4 model)
- Prado = either open or LSD, hard to tell unless you do the spin-tyre test
- Fortuner = LSD
- Dmax = LSD

diff lockers would be the ultimate candidate for off-roading, but will have some downside to everyday use, thats why the lsd is more better suited for both.....

gonna swap out the front diff to LSD soon, as soon as i find one at a good price.....

i am seeing a good bit of modified navaras on the road now - passed two from south on the highway - and damn they look sweet.

Silver and black i think - lift kit, body armor, winch and snorkel
