Great choice on the firestone.. When something treats me well I will vouch for it at every opportunity I get. Out of curiousiy, where is the firestone destination AT you bought made?

The firestone is better than the pirelli anyway (in this case) so good call I say.. Just be sure to note the speed rating of those tyres.. If it is the R speed rated ones, they really not designed to go over 170 (not that a pickup should be doing over 170 anyway) but take a look into that.
-----------

Trinibajan, buy the firestone, you won't regret it.. You will come back in about 4 or 5 yrs or more when you ready for a switch and tell me how great it was

Wouldn't recommend mud terrain tyres for those days, limited traction.. lol

actually the wet traction is good.. not as good as the BF KM2's as another MT comparison. I dont need to be over cautious on wet roads

Tires alone: $3500 obo
Wheels & Tires: $6000 obo

Bez why u always buying a tire and selling back so, like them tire can't satisfy ur needs bro, I wonder what will be next!

Any how wrt the bighorns they okay, the 764 a much better tire than the 762, they a bit on the noisy side but works well off road, good enough for a well driven 4be on both wet and dry surfaces

Dropped the van by MM this morning and they showed me why.... BENT Tire

They was a little life in them still but safety before pocket right... MM were out of stock on tires for my spec so called around... Wheel Wizard had Proxes in stock... great service by the team!

the ride is comfortably smooth, just like the day i drove out the firm. The previous tires were actually good but I was told once they get down to this wear, they start to get hard, ride rough and warp

Toyo open county AT hands down for great performance in every condition except deep clay mud, and the tires needed to save you from that kinda mud, will be mud terrain tires, which sacrifice performance, money and noise on the road for go anywhere capabilities

second the Toyo for a great AT, another great AT is BFG, they have been proven over 70K by one of our club members, great performance all round, even been on a few trails, and could still give a couple more Ks, downside with these two is price and sometime availibility......

other than that, have seen the Nankang and Hercules Alltrac workwell, perform good and also give some good mileage......

there are quite a few brands out there, and a couple new ones too....

I have been using the Kumho and have gotten 12500 km thus far .... July - Nov 2013.
they still look like new... full of thread.
my runs are mainly north south highway and off road track few times a year.
really good wet and dry tires.
Mileage Mack.

the toyo are great as well as the firestone destination.

whatever you decide rotate and balance and align your vehicle
this helps with mileage

I must say that the Good Year Wranglers I have on my Wrangler is actually a good tire. I not sure If you can find them down here. Pretty capable A/T and is relatively quiet on the road at speed. If you get some give them a try.
