Go with the Michelin Latitude Tour HP.... It is the best, i had Toyo, Dunlop and Kumho installed and you will definitely feel the difference in terms of ride, comfort and tire wear.... It may cost you extra now to get the Michelin but they pay back for themselves.....
By the way, your suspension will thank you for installing the best tires in the world..... I had these installed December 2011 and to date i hardly noticed much wear and i have packed about 28,000km on those babies...

I'll agree with u on that one, but the head unit and the ac controls are a nice upgrade over the previous version

Costs $4000 each in n&m.... I bought a pair in Roc bamboo, was $1700 each.

Careful when u loosening that front wheel nut though, that does break powerbar head....

Quick ques. My nav came with an oil filter 15208 EB70D its a light grey colour, d black 1 is 15208 BN30A, on my first service d dealer used back a grey one, is d grey one a good or inferior filter? My next service is scheduled next 10000km.. will this filter hold out or I should replace with black 1?

The grey filter holds out perfectly for the 10000km duration

came across some pics of the Suzuki Equator, which is essentially the Navara. The front gives it a much larger look, reminds me of a GMC or Chevy, would love to do a front conversion.

Fellas I am driving a frontier at the moment and was thinking about upgrading to the navara.. After reading some of these posts here I am having second thoughts as I experience none of the issues I see here which would annoy the heck out of me. even more so since I have No squeaks no rattles on old betsy..

Is it possible that the newer models that N&M have now have these issues sorted out, like the steering rack etc??

i can account for my navara coming of age at 5 years old but some of the other newer ones on here definitely have some kinks that need to be sorted out.these vans are surely not as rugged as the older frontiers and i know that mine never did any heavy lifting or offroading and i am quite surprised by all the little and big issues that come up but will see how much i can work around them.luckily i get some ideas from this forum and one or 2 others to solve my problems.diesel or no diesel vehicle i always serviced on time but a good few issues though minor all seemed to have cropped up all around the same time but i am solving them for now

OH i have been parked on this hill with under quarter tank before with no problems , may be filter or clogged fuel lines

THis has happened with a few navaras previously... I believe Biggy82 had addressed this problem with Navara's not starting/hard starting while on a hill before. Will have to do a serach through the thread to find it.

I experienced that before as well but it was because I had put in a wrong primary fuel filter (the long skinny one on the right side of the engine bay by the fuse box) - the stupid parts place had sold me a filter from a TD27 which looked exactly the same as the YD25 filter..... whenver I reversed out of my *very slight incline* driveway, the frigging thing would stall and hard start.

BUt again, all that was self-inflicted.... YMMV - try looking up biggy's post on why navara's tend to cough and cackle when on a hill starting up.

Problem still occuring on inclines

was told the filters are the same and i have a new one infact the filter worked well for 10k+ before the i started getting this problem , i will change the filter some time soon and see if that helps will look in to the TD27 filter

Fixed was sold the wrong primary fuel filter ( one on the passenger side ) the water trap sensor was not fitting properly and sucking in air causing the stalls

be careful when buying filters even if the seller says that this filters are the same as frontiers etc
