So I just completed buying the Amsoil stuff from Big - Z on the forums...He sells the stuff singly so I didn't have to buy a case. 2 gallons of the Premium Synthetic, 1 cetane boost and one concentrate. 700 dollars...Hope its worth it.

Well for the Amsoil gurus, whats the pros and cons of using the Premium synthetic over the normal synthetic from Amsoil? Asked Big-Z but he couldn't give an answer

Rottedv I thought synthetic was synthetic ... just be sure you getting good mileage (10 000km) out of that oil otherwise you're better off using regular mineral oil and changing it every 5 000km.

Guys i think i have a problem with my Ranger burning diesel to much. What can i do for this, my plan is to change the glow plugs this week.

I never service the injectors, can this cause the problem of burning diesel to fast?

My old man to it today for a run to toco and called me for two things, he filled up in Duncan village and burnt half tank to reach toco......the AC started to blow hot by the time he reach piarco.....

Advice?

either the service wasn't done properly, they hit yuh ah ghost, or there if she pulling real good then the calibration off, too much fuel, or if she holding back, then something choking and stifling somewhere, had this issue when a plastic bag was lodged down in a snorkel that didn't have a mesh on it......also when lighthammers intake hose collapsed he had a similar issue....

Anyone know a good Diesel mechanic? I got a 2009 KIA sportage which runs perfect most of the time but sometimes it gives problems to start. It happens when engine is hot or cold, van doesn't smoke. I have to tumble engine several times to start because it keeps cutting off abruptly before it finally runs. Any suggestions?

I recently swap out my zd30 an place a qd32 in my e25. Everything works flawless except for the fact that when I driving hard it overheating. Could the over flow bottle cause this? The original one cannot fit back. So there is no overflow bottle.

Plus guys scrapping out zd30. Mines is one wit injectors on the right hand side. Everything good except injectors pump. Thanks
