Need 4 shocks for the D22 frontier.

What brands / type will give me the best ride and is most durable. KYB, Tociko and another brand was recommended.

Vehicle does not carry load, hardly even carries passengers.

Changed my battery today and the 4WD light won't turn off. Engaged and disengaged the 4WD and it's still on. Any advice or should I just had to Massy for them to clear it?

Edit: Remembered seeing here how to do an ECU reset. Did one and the light came off.

I just did my 100K service at Quik Service.

Bought all my filters from FilterProz and Oil from Big Z

Service, my parts & oil cost about $2500.00 total.

Their initial estimate was $3500.00 :?

Going for another 100K :D

fuel ecu reset would not have solved that problem. sometimes the sensors in the tc keep the light on; especially after a particularly deep dip in water or after an underwash. once you didnt experience any driveline windup, dsi

If its for the d22 frontier, a b14 blower motor is the same thing ($150-200)....not sure about the navara.

Good day folks, My D40 navara recently went into limp mode for the first time, the company scanned it and no errors codes showed up, when it happened I got it reset by switching off the iginition , left it a few seconds then I switched the ignition on, after starting up the van drove normal
In limp mode no check light came on, the vehicle X to board was not redlining and was powerless where it couldn't get off 1st gear ie the speed was restricted to approximately 20km.

When I took the van in they suspected something with the fuel system due to poor quality diesel fuel, ie either fouling the injectors or fuel pump restricting the required fuel pressure to run 'normal'

Another mechanic that I highly trust suspects something with the EGR oe sensors in the EG??

anyone ever blanked off their EGR? how does the vehicle respond then?

Any one of you'll experience this before in your D40?
What was the cause??

I have a td27 and would like to know wat difference would it make if a filter is installed directly on the tappet pan breather as opposed to leavin it connected to the main air intake breather. Is this recommended and would there be a positive impact if another filter is directly installed? I have seen people do so and was wondering?

Further to the limp mode diagnosis, is their a diesel fuel additive that can clean the fuel pump suction control valve good?

if the breather has a high quantity of oil mist it will clog the filter. check for oil deposits before trying.

Honestly disappointed though that they are not bringing the larger wheel package as posted all in their flyers... 16" base alloys only.
