been told the van is rather noisy, and to get the pump checked

the QD32 pump isn't noisy, however the engine is she's a screamer tbh  .
If you hearing the pump loudly other than a cold start, have it serviced and re-calibrated.

Twice I hear a kind of pax pax noise under where the x pedal is. X pedal was one place, both times different speeds (80km/h and 105km/h).

Could feel it in the floor. Wth is that?

What's the correct way to drive a soft-clutch frontier 4x2 non turbo without riding the clutch excessively and getting that burnt clutch smell?

I'm not accustomed to soft clutch , rather stiffer clutch and it's a company van so I don't know if the smell is normal from other workers abusing it or my driving.

Hey man, you just need to get accustom with the van, each van is different just get a feel for it.
On first gear you will get the most problem with riding the clutch, just release slowly and you should feel the van moving at the same time mash the X.

Right...just to clarify....drove a privately-owned frontier and felt effortless, no burnt clutch smell, so it was the company-owned frontier that has problems with the clutch due to abuse. Wasn't asking for lessons on how to drive stick, was simply querying if frontiers have a particular way to ride clutch without overriding it, but now realise it's due to clutch problems on the company owned frontier.

I paid $510 for the front pair, Faiz auto supplies Marabella - 658-7548

I called alot of other places and the only other place i could find that stock these kyb shocks are A1 auto supplies...they wanted $500 each.

KYB part# :- front - 553228, rear - 553153.

This might be a dumb question but how would one know when shocks need changing on frontier? It is my understanding that they are generally rough riding vehicles.

Also do these carry back shocks as well or just front?
