he was speeding actually.. he had passed me and I usually drive 90 - 100.. i'd guess around 120 when he hit the bump..
the same guy almost ran into the back of another car during a failed overtaking attempt. he ended up on the shoulder while braking to avoid the accident.. (iirc, his front end made quite a dive when he hit the brakes)
his ahole driving aside, the bounce i saw was still crazy..
^^ that's the problem with pickup-drivers today, too many of these noobies think that they can drive a pickup just like a car.
Sure the engine powerful, and sure the Frontier can cruise at 120km/h easily.... but it's not a fricking sports-sedan or a lowered b14. The front suspension is a heavy-duty torsion bar setup, not a cut-spring-sunny special. It's designed to take heavy loads up to one-tonne, drive over logs and rocks. Of course it's going to be bouncy, that's the nature of the suspension setup.
*sigh*.... noobs.
ANyway, rant-aside.... to the OP - get your shocks inspected or replaced - sounds like they've run out their life and are dead. How many miles on your frontier?
N&M likes to replace the shocks at around 50,000km, so you should too. Mine was replaced twice on the my frontier and though it's still bouncy, it's still within spec and I'd have no problems with road bumps at speed.
