i was talking to someone who fixes the forklifts where i work and he says that
White Smoke is when the injections dribbling and not much fuel is coming out.
Black Smoke is too much fuel going in or not enough air so the unburnt diesel comes out the tail pipe.
Blue Smoke is when the engine is burning oil.
NB. these characteristics are when the vehicle is running and the colored smoke is consistent.
