anybody knows if when you booking a cal ticket online
if you are billed on your credit card as usd?

Yes. All tickets are priced in USD.

What I usually do and advise is to pay for your ticket at a CAL office locally (which you pay for in TTD) so that you can save that USD on your CC for the duration of your stay overseas.

If you are using other sites like kayak etc they give you the option to pay in TT. I booked a cal flight to Curaçao recently using cheapo Air and it was billed in tt

the credit card statement had the charge on the ttd side or the usd side?

Yeah but the rates of those site are generally higher than bank rates (7 and above as compared to 6.8 )

Yeah, whenever I had to buy CAL tickets, I'd go in to the office in Port of Spain.

i ain’t bother with going into to cal
i paid it online with my cc before the end of month so when i travel my card will be on new forex cycle

Book via the CAL app. At least for tobago tickets, its charged in TT $

Never tried it with international bookings yet.

Billed in TT and the rate was 6.80
the credit card statement had the charge on the ttd side or the usd side?
