Expedia packages

Postby nightcrawler » November 12th, 2023, 4:57 pm

Has anyone used Expedia to book packages recently? I see when choosing the hotels they say that the resort fee is included. Can anyone confirm. Or is it that I will encounter hidden fees after. Just want to ensure that when I pay thats the final price.

Booked for my trip and everything was included for both hotels. The hotel just did their regular 25$ hold fee when checking in

Expedia works well and you even get some discounts when you book car flight hotel. If resort fee is included nothing to worry about just keep in mind some of them hold a certain amount of $ charged to your cc as security.

Expedia is fine, all big travel booking websites are fine and can be trusted. Expedia used to have a big issue with being able to reach an actual human to sort out issues with flight cancellations but it's vastly improved now.

Never personally had any issues with Expedia, but have read where persons bookings get lost.
So before you go, email directly the hotel just to confirm.

That's never once happened to me, at least not recently. What's changed in the travel industry is that Expedia has got direct API integrations with literally every hotel booking management tool and they work really well. Expedia and Booking Holdings (Booking.com and Kayak) are the two biggest digital travel companies and they've mastered and perfected it.

But obviously if you're anxiety driven and want to make sure things go smoothly, call the hotel and confirm.

Not saying it can't happen and if it did Expedia would definitely compensate you but don't let that be a factor when using these sites.
