Shipping in Shock Absorbers

Postby Galvatron » April 27th, 2023, 1:09 pm

Has anyone recently shipped in shock absorbers via skybox or any other methods?
Was the landed cost reasonable?
Thanks

Shocks via air are charged an additional fee as it is charged and would need repackaging.
Through sea there is no additional cost.

I brought in front struts and rear shocks, together with shock mounts, insulation pads and other miscellaneous suspension items via sea freight with Blue Sky Shipping back in 2020.

The charges were not unreasonable and the total cost to my door was much less than what I would have paid if I bought the items locally.
