The Aston Martin looks promising in FP2. It should be a contender for a few wins/podiums this season.

Looks like a return to some kind of form for AMR. Can't say too much right now but it looks promising. I want to root for the under dog but I don't like the Stroll's #daddyscash

Max Verstappen and Red Bull make dominant start to the F1 season in Bahrain, with veteran Fernando Alonso securing third on Aston Martin debut after Charles Leclerc's car failure - while Lewis Hamilton finishes fifth

I'm mind blown from Aston's performance this weekend. Let's see if they can maintain it throughout the season while the other teams try to catch up.

Fernando Alonso had a controversial penalty applied in Jeddah after the race - in fact, right after he’d been on the F1 podium at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
It meant he had his trophy literally taken from his hands moments after the podium ceremony, and it was given to George Russell over in the TV interview area instead.

And then they gave it back to him after the penalty was appealed

But the pace on that RB is nothing short of amazing. Verstappen drove past Hamilton as if he was standing still.

Red Bull is still way too far ahead imo. Max was easily pulling a 2s gap shortly after overtaking Lewis.

By the time Merc catches up to Red Bull this season it will be too late and the WCC and WDC are being wrapped up.

First time for the season I sat down and watched an entire race. That Redbull under DRS is ridiculously quick. Rooting for Checo, but let's see how the season plays out with other teams' developments.

Race was a bit boring imo. Max was simply on another level and outclassed the entire field including Perez.
