Max finding 3 tenths plus clipping the barrier in that final sector to take pole… nothing short of astonishing

What a qualifying! Had me on the edge of my seat at the end of Q3. Bummed out for Alonso but let's see how the strategies play out tomorrow.

Well done Lando!

Tomorrow race will be interesting, kinda strange starting grid. Apart from verstappen winning, anything can happen to the rest of the pack.

Excellent result for the Mercs. What happened to Lando at the start? I started watching from Lap 10 and didn't see any replays.

Contact with Hamilton’s rear tire damaged his wing. He had to pit for a replacement which put him out of the running.

Max is a goddam machine this season..... another dissapointing performance for LeClerc. I really hope he finds back himself soon. AM continues to surprise though, especially Stroll.

Perez need a bush bath. They can put anyone in that redbull and they would do better than him.

I can’t see him holding onto that seat for much longer. Red Bull is ruthless when it comes to dealing with underperforming drivers. Chances are he won’t last the season before they swap him.

They might keep him... Having 2 drivers in the same team fighting for the world title isn't necessarily a good thing. It's a lot easier when there is a clear division between no.1 and no 2. Driver. Don't think Yuki is ready to step into that seat either

Bad strategy call from the team to put him out on used soft tyres so long before the session restarted on a track that would keep improving. He sat there for over 5 mins with the tyres losing temperature and had the worst conditions for his fast lap as he was leading.

According to Verstappen, he can win the team championship without any help from Perez…..ouch….

The Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, said at the British Grand Prix that the team were still committed to Pérez. “He’s the type of guy that just needs an arm around his shoulder and you work with him,” he said. Tellingly, in 2020, Horner said of Albon, then also struggling at Red Bull: “We need to be patient with him and we’ll put an arm around his shoulder and make sure he feels he’s got the support.” Albon was replaced at the end of the season by Pérez.

The irony, Albon probably a better driver than Perez now...
