The 2024 summer Olympic games are being held in Paris with the games scheduled to take place from Fri, Jul 26, 2024 - Sun, Aug 11, 2024.

Hospitality and travel packages officially went on sale earlier today with prices ranging from 250 euros to 24,000 euros depending on which package you choose.

Tickets go on sale in waves starting Feb 13th 2023.

I'm planning to attend the athletics events and was hoping to purchase their hospitality and travel packages but the value isn't worth it for the experience I would like to have. Hopefully, other tuners are also planning to attend and will share their travel plans to help others in their trip planning.

The athletics games are running from Aug 2 to Aug 10 2024 with each day divided into two sessions so if you're interested in full-day events you will need to purchase 2 tickets per day. I think I'm going to attend 3 days of games and explore the city for another 4 days.

Im actually looking forward to the 2028 edition of the games as cricket would/should be introduced. Not sure how it would be implemented though(especially as it relates to the west indies)

The ICC's proposal is for six teams on the men's and women's sides.
WI solve the problem by not being a top 6 team however if they were they probaly would not qualify anyhows as the WI member nations are the IOC members not WI.

If the proposal is accepted, it is likely that the six participating teams would be the top six in the ICC's men's and women's T20 rankings on a cut-off date.

The ICC has not yet finalised a tournament structure - it is still discussing options for this with the LA28 organisers.

T20 was the format proposed since both LA28 and the IOC had told the ICC that the format should be one in which there is a world championship conducted (that would rule out T10, for example), has a compact duration (ruling out ODIs) and significant spectator interest.

Why. Everything about Olympics is discrimination between genders. Why are there events for only male and females. What about they/ them/ those/ that/ it genders. What if someone identify as a male today and a female tomorrow. I say done away with the genders and let everyone complete freely. Also done away with the antidoping laws and let people smoke/sniff/ drink/ eat whatever they want and let's see what the human body is capable of. Then the Olympics would be something actually worth watching... there will never be a dull moment... guaranteed.

Sports max has rights for our region and would bring a region focused coverage but that's if u have that particular cable channel and it's not blocked due to rights- they have 2 but i'm not sure which one has the Olympics.

the next thing is a lot of events are wee hours of the morning and we doh know if they would be a repeat broadcast later
