Bob McGrath, the Sing Along With Mitch tenor who portrayed the friendly music teacher Bob Johnson for more than four decades as an original castmember on Sesame Street, has died. He was 90.
These guys were the parents of my generation.First Louis ,now Bob.Even though they were actors, the amount of good influence they had on children is immeasurable.Bob, especially was a guy that encouraged me to find my singing voice.All muppets go to heaven.

Bob McGrath said that his two favorite moments on Sesame Street were the 1978 Christmas Eve on Sesame Street and the 1983 sequence that candidly addressed the death of longtime character Mr. Hooper, played by his good friend Will Lee who had died the previous year.
Was watching the SS 50th anniversary special on HBO a few weeks ago and was remarking to my wife at how old he was looking (and that was filmed 3 years ago)
