On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Cellular.
Tap Set Up Cellular.
Follow the instructions for your carrier. (That's if Digicel allows this yet)
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207578
But once Digicel does then whatever eSIM you have on your iPhone can be copied to your other cellular-capable Apple devices like your cellular apple watch and cellular iPad etc - that's how it works with the US carriers like AT&T, Verizon etc
I guess someone with a digicel eSIM on their iPhone and a apple watch GPS+Cellular can test it using the instructions above and see if it works
My carrier has esim support but will not provision my watch. So I recommend you don’t hold your breath till Digicel provides this service.

Yea, bmobile physical, and digicel esim. The only problem I encounter is if I'm active on a call on my digi line, no calls to the bmobile will come in, and vice versa.

So no call waiting across numbers.
Small inconvenience for dual SIM capability

Would make buying a foreign SIM and packages really easy when traveling.

I think he's asking if Whatsapp on your regular number will continue to work when you switch to the foreign eSIM

Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:^ in my experience when you change the SIM, WhatsApp tries to change to that number. That’s why when ppl are traveling or otherwise you see “xyz changed their number” in WhatsApp.
I use WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business to get two WhatsApp accounts on one phone

Yea. This is what i do I change the number in WhatsApp. Maybe this other way is for a data only sim ? That’s possible right? But my e-sim gives me a foreign number that i temporarily assign to WhatsApp
platinumedition wrote:Has anyone had to transfer their eSIM to all other cellphone with the QR code?
Digicel west mall is saying that the QR code is only good for 24hours and that if I need to transfer the number after that I will need to come in and pay another 50$ for a sim replacement.
Had anyone encountered this ? Because honestly it makes no sense.
