Best you can do is to go see a doctor, he will send you to physiotherapy, but from there make it a routine to do your stretches everyday. It makes a huge difference.

I cant bend at all forwards or backwards to do anything at the moment..
Body must be straight at all time to avoid pain....
Stretching is not a possibility right now.
Basically I dont want to do anything before i strain myself and make it worse.

I will admit this started off as a lower back pain to avoiding bending to pick up any objects now its sharp pains like needles in my leg all day..

I was told about my posture from my trainer and days after it reared its ugly head. My head always droops from being bent when I used to study and seems the muscles had gotten weak.
It really didn't help that I had a heap of extra bones that pressed on the nerves. Iirc they were called cervical vertebrae or ribs or some shiz so. Have like 6 or 8 extra all the way up to a few bones below my axis. It's actually pretty common I got to understand, a lot of people have them but only when it causes a problem they become aware of it or it shows up on a x-ray like mine did.
Felt like my right hand was being crushed or there was like broken bottle under the skin dragging against the muscle tissue when I move. It was quite painful.
Slouching and sitting deformed my lower back. Felt like I had a blunt object was being rammed into my leg.
After therapy they recommended I keep fit and maintain a healthy posture. If you have problems with lower back a brace may be an option to help keep you straight. But I'd get a professional opinion before doing so.
Husband of a friend of mine has the same problem. Surgery is his option. Told her in advance, that pain changes you. Either raises your tolerance to levels where you get damaged and don't know or you practically borderline numb.
Extra ribs. Have to look for the x-ray. I thought it was a joke when the radiologist presented it.88sins wrote:Humans have 7 cervical vertebrae, nervewrecker, u say you have extra? Would be interesting to see. I've seen thousands of cervical spine images, x-rays, CT, mri, bds, etc., but I've never seen one with more than 7.
You are absolutely right in that pain changes you tho. Severe pain will either weaken you, or strengthen you. I personally went through enough pain from injuries in life that unless I losing more than a liter of the red stuff or a bone sticking out or dislocated I don't notice. Wifey get so fed up asking me why I bleeding or how I get damage and I could only say "me eh kno" that she don't even ask how any more, she go just say "aye yuh body part bleeding"
But when pain weakens you, boi, daz when some people does give self deletion serious consideration.

That's how painkillers on the whole work, they treat the pain and not what's causing it with the hope that the cause will resolve on its own. If you get it checked out and it's nothing requiring surgery you may have to treat the pain alone for a prolonged period because even slight pressure on the spinal nerves causes immense pain
