They gave the whole squad of people who never faced a covid patient medals and not even a bonus for an attendant, nursing assistant, nurse or doctor that was actually there with the covid patients. That was a pappy show

did the hunters and search and rescue ppl who go in the deep bush to look for missing persons and bodies, out of the goodness of their hearts risking their own lives so heavily, no funding from the government...... were they recognized for anything they did in the last 2 years? I don't know their names, don't know if it anywhere on that list?

Dem in court fighting over who have the rights to the name hunters search and rescue. Can't give them any awards with all that bachannal thing.

Nope and that is a travesty. By the time I went to nominate them, the nomination period had passed. That period was only open for 2 weeks.

Leadership is deserving of merit, but also, imagine giving every nurse, doctor and orderly who worked for at least a year during the worst of the pandemic a hummingbird medal.
That would be truly awesome. /nosarc

That was really a missed opportunity.
