All this beat up about teachers and children missing school. No matter what, we know when sea, cxc, and cape results come out which group of children will be on top.

The injunction gets sent by courier from house to house for signatures. The meeting is virtual.

Let's rephrase this who paid these judges to work on a Sunday because I'm sure all were not home. If judges could work for the government on weekends then they can more than come out and work for the ppl as well.

We need our Teachers out there.

I know things are rough, but our children need you.

It is your duty.

Rest after class.

So, were they supposed to sit after the strike?
There are cases where ANY court can convene an emergency sitting.

A go slow and work to rule is far better that any strike.

What makes this different from the typical government worker's day?

The difference is teachers actually perform when they have to but imagine a teacher coming everyday and doing squat , the children are the ones who have an exam to sit not the teachers

Some do actually work. Had to get my ID card renewed and they were efficient. On the other hand can't say the same for Customs, licence office and Immigration. All the latter from security guard was very rude, hostile and arrogant.

Renewed licence in 2020 and did my son's passport in July 2022.
TBH the service had to be the best it ever was.
Wait times were the least, staff were responsive and answered questions.

I assumed Covid and the use of appointments meant they could could actually deal with the appropriate volume their resources could handle.

if they do work to rule wouldn't that mean they actually show up and do the job instead of the minimum that a majority of teachers try to pass off as work? I had teachers if they did work to rule it would have been a massive jump up in their productivity

I agree, some do work……..some.

Unfortunately the majority has frustrated the general public so much that it is very hard to keep or even regain faith and trust.
