In storage containers in plain sight. You passing it everyday and dunno.

I dunno how reliable this info is, but from what I've heard, the crime ring will have one man legally own a vehicle, and the other stolen vehicles will be identical in colour and kept geographically separated. They then all utilise copies of number plate & insurance of the legally owned vehicle to blend in and only slap on the original stolen plates for crimes.

So I guess even if police stop them, the plate and insurance will come back legit and if they check with the legal owner (according to the documents presented with), said person will probably verify that they gave permission to use the vehicle.

Again, I don't know how reliable this info is but it makes plenty sense. Come to think of it, how often will a person be stopped and their chassis # verified? (unless some sort of suspicion is raised or you piss off an officer).

:o

is this why people paint their cars pink?

A taxi-driver who contested a ticket for having unauthorised letters and figures on his car, has been fined $300 by a San Fernando magistrate.

David Bharath of Sangre Grande, was stopped during a roadblock exercise along the Naparima Mayaro Road, New Grant, on January 7 at 10.27 am by the police. PC Sujeet Ramcharan saw the words "Big Daddy Wotless" in the front and back windscreen.

These were deemed unauthorised letters in contravention of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act.

Ramcharan issued the fixed penalty notice of $1,000. However, Bharath contested it.

On Monday, the case went to court and the taxi driver pleaded guilty before Erica Baptiste-Ramkissoon.

She fined him the $300, or in default he will serve 14 days simple imprisonment.

Bharath has three months to pay the fine.

Police is to protect and serve. them in tableland police station always making cook and theis kant rancharan feel he bright. he went to court before for giving a man a ticket because he jump out his car and leave the engine running. now he give a man a ticket for writing some words on he own car to make his car more noticeable so people wouldnt steal it or people will notice it if it pass somewhere when stolen. so pc ramcharan cant hold a bandit but feel he is big police to small nonsense and when people try to protect their belonging by putting stickers or what he want to fuq them up. man idiots all over yes.

all the car here n this thread very similar with no noticeable markings. so if i put noticeable markings on my car it illegal.

has anyone implemented a door lock actuator to pin the bonnet closed just like the rest of the doors.

It would be better to have it rigged to be in drive as well bai. Like two states in an AND gate.

It must be in drive AND brake pedal pressed for the circuit to trigger. Just to make sure they sitting for sure on whatever device.

I talking realistic scenarios.

Bait cars and a gun that doesn't work on the floor in the vehicle and proper tracking .

Park up in a mall with some shopping bags in the backseat and wait for someone to steal it.

Then when the police intercept they have good reason to kill everyone in the car because....they point a firearm in their direction

i think infrastructure i.e.. charging stations are really for quick top-ups rather than full charges - this is supposed to be done at home overnight using a 220V outlet not so?
