Is Aqua really the number 1 choice for thieves as TTPS suggests or is it that it have so much of it in the country?

True on both fronts.Nobody would suspect an Aqua because they look so toyish. There are so many of that that it is easy to hide.My 2c,if buying an aqua, customize the bejeezus out of it.

As long as there is a demand for those parts especially those batteries....they will continue. It cheaper to hire a man to steal an aqua than buy a new battery...

Not for that.Make it easier to identify immediately. Will be easier to recover initially if stolen.

Toyota parts are expensive go figure. Why scrape up 12k for a new battery when you could just get one and scrap it out

Anyone with experience on your vehicle being stolen here? Or any authority who knows this process well? What to do after panicking?

Should be a relevant reference in this thread for anyone searching for local info. Because I myself would not know what steps to take, what to do with the police, insurance and everything else in that state of mind. What documents should I have out of the car and safely put away for this situation?

Bullet points for easy to follow instructions please? Thanks.

What’s the significance of the numbering system in here . I assume more vehicles are stolen than the actual numbers in here ?

For stolen vehicle process I believe some things to do are
Inform police
Inform insurance
Provide spare key to the insurance company (urban legend ?)
Copy of insurance ?
Inform tracking Company

It's my little record to see how bad things really are. I want to give an average in a few months time. Yes your assumption are very correct .

That being said 88
