So while Tobagonians twinning, Trinidadians fighting. Grenadians are very upset, this is unacceptable
Hope someone put an end to that illegal operation once and for all.

Report from Loop News

"The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has confirmed an incident involving World Javelin Champion Anderson Peters that occurred aboard the vessel ‘Harbour Master’ on Wednesday night in Grenada.

In a statement, the RGPF says Peters is presently receiving medical attention for minor injuries. Several crew members of the said vessel are in police custody assisting with investigations. A further update will be provided today.

There is anger, sadness and shock in Grenada on social media following the circulation of a viral video of the incident where Peters is seen surrounded by several men. He ends up off the vessel in the waters during the incident.

Peters, 24, who is a world champion javelin thrower recently returned with a gold medal in the Men’s Javelin from the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon and a silver medal from the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

It is unclear why such an incident has occurred; however, the sight of their sporting icon being treated in such a manner has left many Grenadians angry.

It is reported the Harbour Master was supposed to have a cruise last night with one of the mas bands that participated in Spicemas, but video later showed the vessel remained in port following the incident.

Peters is regarded as a national icon in Grenada. He just received a welcome home reception which was attended by Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell and Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture Ron Redhead"

Blake people celebrate emancipation by going on ships (boat rides) in chains (gold jewelry). Seem to me like they asking to be reenslaved

Caribbean War I (2022-2022)

It starts with a minor incident involving a Grenadian sportsman on a Trinidad boat in international waters, but soon escalates. Grenadians attack Trinidad in pirogues with nutmeg seeds in slingshots, but the attack is soon thwarted by Trinidad bandits who roam the sea, and the Grenadians are relieved of their boats, nutmegs, and slingshots.

The US quickly deploys troops to Grenada, but soon depart after they realise there is no oil that requires liberation. Through social media, the Prime Minister of Grenada pleads with the neighbouring islands to rally against the marine threat from Trinidad. Caricom called an emergency meeting and decided that the best course of action was to immediately send thoughts and prayers so several cargo containers were prepared but unfortunately not dispatched due to the COVID crisis.

War rages on for minutes.

The Prime Minister of Trinidad sends a delegation comprising the Bandit Association President, the Queen- I mean the incumbent President, Gary, Kamla, Philip, Tanty Merle and Moutxt to make peace.

As a symbol of peace, we send a corbeau with a doubles in its mouth. Grenada prompts rejects the offering and demands reparations totalling $16.40 EC dollars. Moutxt pulls out a 20USD and throws it on the negotiation table.

Handshakes are exchanged, hugs dispatched, tears flow freely.

Caribbean War I is over.

Five (5) Trinidadian men have been arrested in Grenada following a fight on board the harbour master party boat which resulted in world javelin champion, Anderson Peters being beaten and thrown overboard on Wednesday 10th August, 2022.

The suspects have been identified as:

1. 54-years-old Deckham Alexander;
2. 35-year-old Mikhail John;
3. 42-year-old Noel Cooper (captain);
4. 45-year-old Lance Wiggins; and
5. Shean Jack.

• Reports coming out of Grenada state that the suspects were informed of their rights while in custody and were allowed to speak with their attorney Dylan Charles.
• Another Grenadian, identified as Kiddson Peters, was also reportedly assaulted on the boat and that matter is also engaging the attention of the Grenadian police.

Peters won a Silver Medal at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. After the incident, he was taken to the hospital for medical treatment for injuries sustained.
• At the time of the incident, Peters was attending a party on the boat.
• The Harbor Master is a Trinidadian party boat owned by Adrian Scoon, son of Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon, who was earlier this year charged in relation to a brunch hosted on another party vessel he owns named the Ocean Pelican.

In a statement issued earlier today, the Grenada Athletic Association strongly condemned the attack against Peters describing the treatment meted out to him as “inhumane and brutal” which should not be imposed upon any human being.
