It starts with a minor incident involving a Grenadian sportsman on a Trinidad boat in international waters, but soon escalates. Grenadians attack Trinidad in pirogues with nutmeg seeds in slingshots, but the attack is soon thwarted by Trinidad bandits who roam the sea, and the Grenadians are relieved of their boats, nutmegs, and slingshots.
The US quickly deploys troops to Grenada, but soon depart after they realise there is no oil that requires liberation. Through social media, the Prime Minister of Grenada pleads with the neighbouring islands to rally against the marine threat from Trinidad. Caricom called an emergency meeting and decided that the best course of action was to immediately send thoughts and prayers so several cargo containers were prepared but unfortunately not dispatched due to the COVID crisis.
War rages on for minutes.
The Prime Minister of Trinidad sends a delegation comprising the Bandit Association President, the Queen- I mean the incumbent President, Gary, Kamla, Philip, Tanty Merle and Moutxt to make peace.
As a symbol of peace, we send a corbeau with a doubles in its mouth. Grenada prompts rejects the offering and demands reparations totalling $16.40 EC dollars. Moutxt pulls out a 20USD and throws it on the negotiation table.
Handshakes are exchanged, hugs dispatched, tears flow freely.
Caribbean War I is over.
